What is Fair Rigg?
Fair Rigg is home to four of our opulent apartments. They range from sleeping 2 guests, to sleeping 8 – it can also be booked as an entire property sleeping 14-20 across all four apartments. So, whatever your reason for holidaying with Cradel Haus, we’ll have an apartment that suits your needs. Our apartments at Fair Rigg are all pet-friendly, so don’t forget to book your fury family members onto your stay too!
Where is Fair Rigg?
You can find Fair Rigg located in the perfect spot in Bowness – buried in the serenity of the countryside with stunning views of the surrounding nature, but just a 2-minute drive of 15-minute walk from the centre of one of the most popular tourist towns in the Lakes.
Getting to Fair Rigg
If you’re driving to Fair Rigg by Cradel Haus, enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape on your drive in, and then utilise our on-site parking right outside your apartment. If you have an Electric Vehicle we do have 2 7kW Easee Chargers at the property for you to use during your stay. You can find us on google maps here.
If you’re arriving via public transport, the nearest train station is in Windermere. We then recommend getting either a bus or a taxi from there. The nearest bus stop to Fair Rigg is Windermere Marina Village, we are then a short 5 minute walk from there.
Self-catering apartments
All of our apartments at Fair Rigg are self-catered. They all have fully functional kitchens with NEFF Oven, Hob and Microwave (in the studio there is no hob, and combination microwave). Find all kitchen utensils and crockery provides in the kitchens for you.
Parking at Fair Rigg
Fair Rigg has parking for each apartment. The Windermere, Wainwright and Wordsworth all have 2 spaces each and the Ruskin has 1 space. These are off-road parking spaces and have 2 EV chargers available for guest usage too.
Sustainability at Fair Rigg
Cradel Haus has proudly prioritised sustainability where we can at Fair Rigg. We have a solar panel system on the roof, and a battery management system to ensure we are being eco-friendly with the electricity in our apartments. We eagerly put Electric Vehicle Chargers on our driveways to encourage guests to use EVs where possible.
We’re also using as many sustainable alternatives to consumables as possible: our washing-up liquid is EcoVer, and our toilet rolls are Who Gives A Crap..
